If you want to feel comfortable, welcome and adventurous - then I highly recommend Mundo, whether you're international or not. The delectable food, coupled with the very cozy ambience and wonderful service make it hard to leave this restaurant!! I have been there 3 times and every time has been a real pleasure!!! This is one of my most favorite restaurants in NYC and best in Astoria. I used to live in Astoria and found this by chance and I am so thankful for that. Red Sonja as an appetizer was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Make reservations and taste flavors that will please your palate. Always try the specials, they go above and beyond to "wow" you. more
