We discovered The Breadboard in 2008 during a trip to Ashland for Shakespeare. Brothers Cafe being our usual morning selection, the Breadboard quickly jumped into the first spot after only one meal. Every year I take vacation from Southern California. This is my main destination for breakfast. You must try their pancakes with blueberries and some delicious homers. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait for my return trip in July. more

The Breadboard is small so get there early if you want to sit and eat (and not getting to-go). My parents ate there three times on our trip - it was the "official breakfast" of our trip. This place has, by far, the best breakfast of any restaurant in Ashland. After trying them all, it's the only place I now go to for my morning meal whenever I'm in town (and I've been visiting Ashland for 4-5 days a year for over 30 years). Try their Belgian Waffles - pure delight!!! more
