Four of us shared a variety of small plates and desserts for dinner. Everything tasted very good and was nicely presented. more

This place isn't exactly kid friendly, yet we had a great time and excellent food with our four year old son. He is used to being dragged to fine dining all over the place, so he is pretty good about it. Not recommended for most kids, though. The food was sophisticated yet uncomplicated, pleasant bites, and it was nice sitting... more

This restaurant is so good that we went back two nights in a row to try the other small plates we missed the first night. First of all, the "small plates" are not all that small, compared to other restaurants. Two plates each and you have a full meal. Owner Crissy Barnett, (also owns the Peerless Hotel next door) and... more

I have dined at Peerless from time to time since it opened, usually at someone's invitation. Those dining experiences have always been been pleasant and I have enjoyed the restaurant but it has never been one of those places that I can hardly wait to get back to. Several weeks ago I went with an out-of-town friend who was eager... more

After walking to the Peerless from the center of Ashland at the conclusion of a Shakespeare matinee, we decided to make a reservation for later in the evening, and DRIVE back. The restaurant is out of the way, compared to many of the other places in town, but the walk or drive is well worth it. We were so glad... more

Peerless is a great place to dine if you know what to order. Do a few of the small plates instead of a main entree. Start with the Prawn Cocktail and the fried calamari is great too. The butternut squash gnocchi is another good choice. Sit in the outdoor patio and go on Wednesday, as they don't charge a corkage... more

Being locals in Ashland, my husband and I have our pick of delicious restaurants to choose from. For our anniversary, we chose the Peerless. Overall, the restaurant delivers except for one detail, which unfortunately was the center of our meal. The ambience is upscale and quite comfortable. Our table was tucked away just enough to feel private, a must for... more

It was just me, so I got right in at 5:30 - if there are a few people in your party and you are trying to make a play I recommend a reservation. I had two appetizers and a salad. This was too much food. Their appetizer portions are far more generous than what I expected. I had a salmon... more

I don't often write reviews, but when one has a perfect dining experience one has to shout from the mountain tips! The Peerless Restaurant in the Railroad District of Ashland, Oregon offers the rare combination of atmosphere, food and YES AMAZING SERVICE! We entered this oasis of inspired cuisine to find a Hostess who seemed to love her job, we... more
