I really want to like this place because it is close to home and my wife and I love steak. But, after three tries, we will not be going back. The meat is really sub-par. My wife had the prime rib and it was chewy and flavorless. I had the ribs and they were tough and fatty. The waitress was... more

Just to get this out of the way: the steak was tasty. That said, everything else we ordered was almost unedible. The garlic mashed potatoes were obviously from a box and had that artifical after taste. The fried popcorn shrimp had the shells still on so that under the fried crumbs you never knew if your bite would be chewable... more

We have been going to Gregory's for quite a few years and NEVER had a bad meal! We went there Sat. night with friends - everyone had something different with NO complaints. The restaurant was packed with people everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves! PLEASE don't go by the negative reviews - try it for yourself more

you call this steak? !!! And service? Non existant. Place is horrible. And they closed Steak & Ale? This place defines bad food and bad service. If you are passing thru allentown and want a steak, keep passing this place. You won't get real meat...not sure where the road kill came from but it wasn;t fresh. more

My husband and I decided to have our New Year's Eve dinner here. We started with hot wings for an appetizer and crab shrimp bisque soup. The wings were more battered fried chicken with no hot sauce...just terrible and the soup seemed like a mixture of left over clam chowder died orange with some imitation crab meat(I'm not even exaggerating).... more

We made our reservation for 6:30pm at Gregory's. We had travelled from out of town and were staying at a 4 star hotel nearby. I thought it a little odd, when the hostess seated us, and we requested a "booster seat" for our 5yr old daughter - the hostess brought us a high chair. After explaining to her what a... more

Last Saturday Sept.27, 2008 I decided to surprise my husband and take him to Gregory's as we had heard several years ago that it was very good and they were doing a fantastic business. As we had to travel to Allentown anyway that evening, it was a perfect excuse to eat there. We had an 8 p.m. reservation but arrived... more

This restaurant is not for those wanting a sophisticated ambience, but to enjoy a good basic steak (or seafood) meal in a casual environment. The restaurant contrasts with another in LV, Blue, which has sophisticated service and ambience, but bland food. Gregory's has no pretentiousness and the focus is on the steaks here. Filets and prime ribs served rare to... more

Recently my girlfriend and I visited Gregory's for dinner. It was quite possibly the worst place I've ever been to. The atmosphere is non-existent. Upon entering you are greeted by a dining area that looks as though it was a converted pool hall or perhaps even a former strip club. I'm unsure as to why I didn't immediately turn around... more
