Really like the deli here. Tiramisu is great as is the bread if you get them early in the day before they get hard and stale.
This place is good for "light" Italian. You won't walk out unbuttoning your pants and hobbling to your car. The prices are a little high for the atmosphere, but the food is good and service is quick if you get there when they open. if you wait till lunch time you will feel the crunch as the line backs up.
It was me, my wife and my mother in law. First time we ever stepped into this place because we were just pretty much looking for a place to eat close by the Criss Cole center. Seemed strange to get a menu right away and order right away. I don't like to be rushed looking at a menu in a... More
The restaurant has good food, but the atmosphere is not worth the price. As you enter the restaurant, you wait in line to place your order and pay. We make the drive to south Austin to eat at Mandola's quite often because it is such a great experience! The moment you walk in the door, the wonderful smells greet you, as well as the smiling, helpful staff. A colorful place, with soccer flags hanging from the ceiling, Italian music playing in the background, shelves of Italian delicacies and... More
This was my third or fourth trip to this Mandola's restaurant, and it was great as usual. In addition to the regular menu, which is quite comprehensive, the restaurant now has a luncheon menu with reduced portions. The spaghetti with Italian sausage, accompanied with a mixed salad, were excellent. In addition, the warm Italian bread with olive oil is exceptional.... More
My brother and I visited Mandola's Italian Market on Arbor Trail for lunch; we have visited this restaurant on several occasions, and have always been pleased with the food and the service. This last visit was more of the same - great food and fast and friendly service. My brother had the large chopped antipasto salad and I had a... More
Very tasteful Italian food/atmosphere and the staff is always in the "serve" mode, asking if there is anything they can do. My wife and I always have had a great experience here. We'll be back for sure! Yum!
Mandola's Italian Market at Arbor Trail is one of three such markets and restaurants in the Austin area. And like the other two, this one provides exceptional Italian shopping. In addition to Italian grocery items, Mandola's also has a very good selection of wines. As for the restaurant portion of this operation, every time I have eaten at Mandola's I... More
