In 4 yrs. in Austin, our experience at Asti ranks as the worst dining experience we have had here. I do not mind paying a lot for food - what I do mind is being ripped off. We ordered the cheese board ($12) as a starter and a microscope was needed to find the 6 miniscule (bite-sized for an infant)... more

I've only been once, but had a great experience. NIce atmosphere, very good food. You could split the personal pizza & order salads They take reservations. My mom is hard-of hearing & this was a great place. more

We started off with what looked like a promising evening. Two of us in the group ordered the mushroom rissotto, after being assured that it could be made without meat. Halfway through the meal, we found out that they had served us the dish with meat. This is deeply disturbing- considering that I have been a vegetarian all my life... more

The food is some of the best Italian in Austin, and it has a very hip atmosphere. The chef's specials tend to be very good. Not as expensive as Vespaio on South Congress. more
