I'm from Arizona, spent the summer in Austin. I ate Torchy's... a lot. In Arizona and Austin, there's an endless amount of tacos you can try. Torchy's tops all of them. Fresh ingredients, great combinations, cheap enough to try them all here and there. Torchy's does what it does perfectly, and man oh man do I miss heading out there... more

Looking for an unusually strange dining experience. Torchy's is in South Austin Trailer Eatery. Order the pork taco on corn tortilla or the democrat on flour. Both are very good. My only complaint is that they do not sell bottled water. more

This place is top 3 in Austin for tacos, and arguably #1. The Brushfire & Ranch Hand are tops in my book, but all I've tried are good. I actually think the fried avocado could be much better...sorta mushy and bland for me. If the Trailer Park is too slammed head a few miles further south to the other location...lame... more
