Visited this restaurant on a Mon. evening while staying at National Harbor. Took the water taxi over to Alexandria Old Towne and it was about a 5 min. walk from the harbor. My family ate here while staying in Alexandria. It was one of our favorite meals of our vacation. My daughter (8 yrs) got the children’s chicken strips and we both agreed they were possibly the best chicken strips we ever had. My kids have had a lot of chicken strips in the life time too! LOL. King Street Blues boasts good sandwiches and comfort food. I have eaten there on several occasions and have always found the food satisfying. I particularly liked the pulled-pork sandwiches. The wait staff are competent but have difficulty handling large crowds. It is a good place for casual dining. more
Great southern comfort food spot. You'll walk out very full but not having paid a ridiculous amount. I recommend their chili mac and cheese, but anything you get will be fantastic. A fun little place to grab a beer, too, just off of King St. in Old Town. more

My three friends an I had take out from here and every single thing we got was awful. The food was bland and not fresh. Pretty sure the mashed potatoes were instant, and the chili tasted like manwich. We will never be returning, much prefer Red Hot and Blue. more
