We stumbled upon the Asian Bistro after a visit to Mt. Vernon. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The fried rice was yummy (not greasy like some places). Try the Vietnamese Summer Rolls for an appetizer and the Spicy Drunken Noodles for an Entree. Good service and relaxing atmosphere. more

I work on King St. in Alexandria. One day my boss took me to lunch at Asian bistro. I liked the food, and the lunch special was great, with soup, etc. at a good price. Then one day I decided to call in an order for take out at lunchtime. First, you can't get the lunch special for take out.... more

Old town Alexandria is quite pretty, especially at Christmas time. If you are with kids, restaurants are generally pricey. The Asian Bistro, which we have eaten at least two meals at over each of our past 3 vacations in the DC area, is reasonably priced and the food quality is excellent. I don't know if it was the fact that we were craving Asian cooking, but this restaurant was very, very good.
