This is a really good mexican restaurant - not tex mex but also not too fancy. In a great neighborhood - Del Ray - that is a nice place to walk around after dinner (try Dairy Godmother which is just down the street for dessert). more

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Alexandria. I've been going to Los Tios since they opened (with only 6 or so tables!), and have loved every minute of my time there. If you want a family friendly place, this is a good choice in the Del Ray area of Alexandria--inside is very noisy and they're forgiving of kids running around.
