We enjoyed our meal at Sorak Garden. The quantity of food was impressive. Between the barbecue, sushi, sashimi, and panchan (side dishes), our large table for 8 was filled with plates edge to edge even though there were only 5 in our party. Beef and pork barbecue were excellent and we were impressed that the staff exchanged our barbecue grill... more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived at the restaurant. When I entered, you could already smell the beef cooking. (delicious) We sat at a table, and tried to order some Korean beer. Amazingly, they didn't have any. Then when the meat arrived, our burner didn't work. We had to switch tables. I give the place 5 stars... more

I always wanted to try a Korean restaurant but two things stopped me: (1) Often Korean restaurants in the DC Metro area tend to cater exclusively to Koreans to the point of only printing their menus in Korean and (2) my husband was most unwilling to try it.
