This is kind of a neat place to stop; we have tried it 3 times for lunch. Unfortunately, the turkey sandwiches and ruebens are extremely blah , boring and overpriced; you can get better sandwiches and baked goods elseware in this area. I think 3 tries is enough. Maybe their breakfast is better. more

We came off the first morning ferry from Orcas and headed out to find a good breakfast place. The Calico Cupboard was listed so off we went. the breakfast menu is awesome! the Service was wonderful. The Calico Cupboard in Anacortes, Washington, has a great breakfast menu and lots of fresh baked goodies available. There is a lot of food on the plate, so you won't go away hungry, but you might want to grab a cookie or cinnamon roll for 'walking around' later. more
