Great thin crust pizza, and pizza that's rolled out right in front of you and anyone passing the window - Frank's is definitely not-to-miss for pizza lovers visiting Appleton. more
The pizza was very good, but the service was mediocre. The staff did not seem to have a problem eating their dinner in front of diners. They had Draft Root Beer. The pizza had a very nice thin crust, but was very greasy. more
I'm Italian. I'm picky about my pizza, meatballs,and hot beef. Frank's has the best, freshest, and most authentic food north of Chicago and their service is outstanding! Big Band on Tuesdays just adds to the warm and friendly ambiance as well as cementing Frank's Pizza Palace as a cultural icon in the Fox Cities. more
I am so glad I found this place. There is a pizza joint called Marie's Pizza in Chicago on Lawrence Ave that is one of the classic thin crust pizza places that opened around 1950.
