We went for lunch and it was great....from the moment we walked in till we left we had a fantastic time! Drinks , appetizers, main course & desserts were amazing! Good job guys!
We were directed to ZaZa a year and a 1/2 ago on my first trip to Rio. It was such a weird spot but we just relaxed and took it all in. So glad we did because it was wonderful. The food, the service, the wine all perfect. Nothing too filling, portion size was perfect. Nothing really seems like it goes... More
We were taken advantage of. We did not make reservations, so we did have a long wait-our fault. We were seated on the porch area, so if there was great ambiance we didn't come anywhere near it. The meals were very expensive. The real shocker was our meals were extremely small--no where near what I would consider half-a-meal or even... More
We had been meaning to go to Zaza for a while but it had never worked out before. We finally went on a Sunday with a couple of friends and all 4 of us enjoyed the meal and the whole experience. My seared tuna was absolutely fantastic with some crunchy couve and wasabi mash. The wine list is extensive and... More
Made dinner reservations before my arrival in Rio as I read some wonderful things about the restaurant in guide books. It was my first dinner in Rio and I was very delighted. I perhaps should have brushed up on some Portuguese before I left Canada but, they offer English menus as well. The food was superb as was the service.... More
Really loved the variety and the unique menu. The atmosphere is so quaint...you can sit upstairs on pillows on the floor. Everything we had was excellent. It's only a block away from the beach so you can watch the sunset over Ipanema and then take a quick walk over. It gets very busy...we went right at opening time and were... More
We visited this restaurant twice during our visit to Rio (once was not enough!). The food is different (blend of brazillian and international), but great. We ate fish, chicken, ribs and lamb dishes. All were great, although without doubt the lamb dish was the best. The desserts are also great and you can get a dessert tasting platter (small serves... More
The food was wonderful. We ate here on our first night and Rio and thought about going back again it was so good. The lamb was amazing and the ribs were fabulous. They make great drinks and the patio was really nice.
Food was definitely the best I had on my trip. I tasted some fresh salmon and tuna, and they were made the way that everything suited perfectly. Service was also very polite and correct. One thing to consider is that, it seems to be very popular restaurant, so plan for your visit some extra time for waiting.
