Excellent home made ravioli with truffles. Service was very good and friendly. Food was delicious. We take istrian plate before and it was excellent wit some istrian sausages chees with truffles and some hot chees and ham. Pasta was very good and on top of it they put thin pieces of truffles. The absolute highlight of our trip so far. Amazing food, really attentive service in a gorgeous village. The beef carpaccio with black truffles was mouth watering, the hand made ravioli filled with 2 spinach and 2 celery raviolo with black truffle sauce was superb. This is a wonderful restaurant with gorgeous views from the terrace, amazing food (Istria proscuitto, cheese, pasta, fresh salads), helpful waitstaff and a wonderful old-world vibe. This is simply a gorgeous spot with incredible food. If you're in the neighborhood, GO!

He was spot on. Epitome of rustic, authentic, slow food goodness. Beefsteak (with black truffles), beef carpaccio (with black truffles), and pasta trio (you guessed it, with black truffles) were all great. Polenta, in particular, was like "crack" ... so addicting. Other reviews sent us here and we were not disappointed. The service was first class, the food exceptional and the bill tiny. A restaurant like this in the hotspots of the world would cost a small fortune if you could get in and not be half as half as beautiful. Don't tell anyone.

Great local restaurant just under the castle on the terrace road. They will delight you with truffle tastes of every kind. We had a scrumptious dinner! The best in Motovun. . Not open on Tuesdays so plan ahead. During busy season reservations are recommended.

This is like a small Paris bistro (10 tables tops) where the owner takes the time to describe what is "on offer", to welcome you and to offer you a local cordial to start your meal.
