Phil Sandoval's is the best Mexican restaurant in North Alabama. The salsa has a unique smoky and sweet taste and the chips are very light and crispy. I highly recommend the shredded pork burritos with green rice and black beans. more

This is my new favorite restaurant! I am addicted to the Acapulco Chicken Nachos. The chips and salsa are to die for! I'm also a fan of Rosies but I have to say that I prefer Phil Sandoval's any day. :) more

Great alternative to the cookie cutter Rosie's and Casas Blancas that are everywhere. Menu has a lot more variety and you get free ice cream with every meal. The margaritas are good too. more

I carried out a Mexico City Platter....which wasn't bad. The Chille relleno was different, it had nuts,and raisins and few things you normally don't go looking for in that dish. This restaurant is wonderful. The salsa is unique and delicious because it's spicy, then a sweet flavor kicks in. The fish taco's are AMAZING.
