The food here is good, but it isn't what I would personally call great. I will go back again, because it has alwyas been consistent, and the people are nice. We had heard mixed reviews from local people about Live Bait. We decided to give it a try, I certainly would never try it again. The service was poor. Waitress was rude. We ate twice at Live Bait during our 5 night stay at OB. Both times we were happy w/ the food and service. The second time we came right before closing and they were still happy to serve us. The seafood nachos were especially good along w/ the gumbo. more

I guess you could say that a visit to Live Bait is a family tradition. We always eat there on our family vacations. In the past years they had a special for children to pay according to their weight, but we found that this no longer exist. Also, Live Bait II is now just a karaoke bar, and dance floor.... more
