The fish comes fresh from Florida. The kitchen is visible to the restaurant. The steaks are amazing. My favorite dish is the shrimp & grits. The bar is always entertaining. The prices are pretty high, but the blue plate lunch special is quite reasonable and very good -- especially the red beans and rice with bread pudding! more
A small town that's hours from the ocean probably isn't the best place to eat seafood. With that in mind, I congratulate Chuck's on their attempt to offer qualify seafood in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Had a great time eating at the sushi bar once. Ordered the suchi from the dining room another time-- nothing impressive. Also, I don't care for the place at lunch. It has a smaller menu and the service is very slow in the afternoon. more
