This restaurant offers a beautiful view of the river. The service is good and the food is outstanding. My favorite dish is pork chops with cheese grits! However, it is know for the catfish. The food includes great southern options like hoppin john and cheese grits. more

The location and setting are excellent. When it came time to order, however, I kind of "chickened out" and ordered the pasta. I'll really have to go back and try something else, like the catfish, perhaps. more

I live in Tuscaloosa and have eaten at the Cypress Inn many times. The food is good, nothing extra but the view is incredible! Get there right at opening so you can get a seat by the windows. The view of the river is awesome and I believe it even makes the food taste a bit better. more
