perfect place for breakfast- we went going through Juneau north and sought it out going south again- even skipping our free meal at the hotel. Fantastic menu- I had whole grain pancakes- short stack (they are enormous) with walnuts and blueberries, my husband had some kind of special french toast and eggs- really incredible offerings and generous portions. more

We ate breakfast two mornings while we visited Juneau. Each day was great with fast service, excellent food and huge portions. I had the whole grain blueberry pancakes and the fruit topped waffles. My wife had a couple different egg and omlet dishes that were very good as well. Highly recommend this little gem! more

As a local I have eaten at this place several times, and I find that the service is a little on the slow side, especially when the place is full. Professional staff, classy interior, friendly environment and top notch food make the Sandpiper Cafe one of my favorite places to eat in Juneau. I have never eaten something I didn't like there which is a rare find in this town. They have, hands down, the best and healthiest breakfast options in Juneau and their lunches are pretty darn good too.... more

Read several reviews and decided to try. Embedded into a motel, this cozy, clean breakfast nook serves up some nice selections. I had the smoked salmon omelette, while my wife has the French Toast Trio; plain sourdough, cinnamon on sour dough, and stuffed mascarpone in sourdough. Good coffee & service. Highly recommended. What a great restaurant! Open only for breakfast/lunch, this is a must for breakfast.
