If you're already out toward Auke Bay, it's worth a stop in. The food is pretty basic and alright, although I would skip the pad thai and go for the Tom Yom soup. Much more authentic tasting. more

The food is excellent, but the accomodations are quaint (to put it lightly); I would suggest take out service. The pad thai is superior, as well as any of their curries... more
Alot of local people make this a busy, popular spot, but it just doesn't taste like wonderful Thai cuisine for me. more

Although for those staying downtown it would be out of the way Chan's is considered the best resturant in Juneau by us locals. Located in Auke Bay on the city bus route Chan's is a family run resturant with little atmosphere but freshly prepared amazing food. Expect to wait in line and they do not take reservations.
