I look forward to going to the Thane Ore House each year when I visit family in Juneau. Fabulous food- especially the beer-battered halibut and grilled salmon. Ignore the reviews about the atmosphere and decor. It's a great place as long as you are not looking for a fancy restaurant. The owner George and his wife are very nice, too. more

If you want great fresh seafood in an outdoorsy atmosphere with real characters, this is the place. Paper plates, plastic forks, semi selfservice. But what you get, the seafood for the price ,can't be beat!! Love it! more
