Good Down Home place to eat. This is a place where the locals eat. Sure you may have to put up with a little cigerette smoke, but it is worth it. And I'm a non-smoker. This is an unpretentious, local restaurant that is filled with locals as well as tourists desiring a normal American [Alaskan ?] breakfast at reasonable prices. Serving was large enough to share well-made pancakes at a total with tip under $15. Much preferred to a large hotel buffet that costs that much per person for pancakes made 3o minutes earlier. more

Local cafe that serves good food for a reasonable price. The Alaska burger is enough for two people. If you do want to eat in a place without a separate No Smoking area this is not the eatery for you. more
