I always base my review of Thai restaurants on how well they prepare a few dishes, the Laab and Panang Curry, and if they have sticky rice! Bangkok Thai (formerly Chanpen) has been a favorite for a long time. For my kids, they Chicken Satay and Wonton soup are favorites. We love the Laab, Tom Yum Soup, all the curries... more

My friend went to the Culinary Institute of America in NYC and this is his favorite restaraunt in town. Now that is saying something. The coconut soup is the best I've ever had, as is the panang. Don't miss the mango and sticky rice for dessert! It is my favorite thing on the menu. more

I am half Thai, and my parents used to own a thai restaurant. Chanpen has decent Thai food. I love their Prik King ( green beans in red curry paste) The people here our friendly and the owner is a nice lady who I got to talk to very briefly. My dad loves the Panang curry. Try the fried banana... more
