This place has the best sushi and welcoming atmosphere of any place in the Valley. I have never been disappointed in all the times I've been there. The prices are not too terrible, the service is great, and the wait staff is very accomidating. They have a great complimentary orange desert too. It is the ONLY place I'll go for... more
I have visited Arizona twice now and have made a point to visit Sakana in Glendale each time. The sashimi is perfect, the sushi is out of this world. Get a seat at the sushi bar if you can, the chef's are hilariously fun. I would recommend this Sakana location to ANYONE..... even the president and the pope. more
The sushi and sashimi here is fresher than Kuala Lumpur. Considering the desert location that's quite a feat. Rolls are great quality and huge - typical of the Southwest. more
Ate here on a friend's recommendation and think it's the best sushi/sashimi I've had in town. It's fresh on Thurs night. more
