This restaurant has been around since I was a child living in Durban. I haven't been for many years but returned recently to discover that it is still a wonderful experience. I could only recommend Roma for the 360-degree views of Durban … which isn’t much if you go anytime after dark. Other than the view, it’s just overpriced and oversalted Italian food served in chintzy surroundings. Our waitron was very nice. The restaurant was recommended by almost everyone I met in Durban, yet it was disappointing on almost every level. more

My family have been going to the Roma for the past 30 years and I have been going there all my life. Gino is a great host and always treated us like the most important diners as kids.
