Had a nice lunch last november. A beautiful setting and a great tasteful meal, obviously with a wine from the estate. What more do you want?

Exquisite food and among the best service I've ever had. Food is pricy compared to similar quality restaurants in the area but still cheaper than home. The wine list is incredible - the best cabernet sauvignon I've tasted.

It was in June 2003 and I remember quite well, when I got to “Delaire Graff “ the very first time at that time, the little wine estate with its restaurant was called the Green Door. A place located at one of the most spectacular...spots in the worlds, what a beautiful view, looking directly at Simons Hill. It took them quite some time until (2010), to turn the old wine estate into this very modern, stylish and absolutely fabulous restaurant, but it was worth waiting for so long. Since then - 2010, we are having dinner or lunch at the Delaire Graff Restaurant. Living next door at Cloud Estate, it is always very easy and convenient to walk or take the golf cart to the restaurant. The meal is always special, sitting on this great terrace overlooking the vineyards and having the small mountain in front of you. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful, explaining everything clearly and detailed and the wine list leaves nothing to be desired, a rich and very interesting selection and very good wines. The only thing I could say, sit down get your glass of MCC, relax and enjoy a great and wonderful meal with superb wines, and looking at Simons Hill, it makes you fell like being in haven.More

Views from the restaurant are astonishing and the location really is amazing. However this is what you’re paying (a lot!) for - not the food or service. The food is fine - the chips are excellent - everything else was ok. Staff are friendly but...service is absurdly slow - you have to ask many, many times if you want bread, or wine, or indeed the bill. They only have their wines by the glass which is quite limiting. It’s worth coming to see the setting but it’s not a great culinary experienceMore

Delaire Graff is a "Gesamtkunstwerk" and that´s the reason why we went there. The whole set-up, the style, the beautiful views and surroundings, the art pieces, the perfection of the staff and the quality of the food add up to a unique experience. We started...with a Negroni and Manhattan as pre-dinner cocktails on the outdoor terrace, the drinks were great (in the little details you find the difference to other places) as well as the views! We continued with dinner in the restaurant, everything was perfect, we had a starter and main course together with a delicious bottle of Chenin Blanc. You will certainly in this magnificent area find other great restaurants with the same quality of food but the overall setup is what makes Delaire Graff a unique place to rememberMore

We had a lovely table overlooking the view of the mountains on a gorgeous summer day! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was also fantastic. The restaurant was definitely busy and I suspect you must book in advance to grab a great...table. It is more expensive than other places but it was a nice lunchtime treat!More

This place is pure quality. Beautiful and immaculate. We had an outside terrace table, shaded by trees, with a front row view of the breathtaking mountains. Service impeccable. Food delicious. Highly recommended. Would love to return and maybe stay for one or two nights in...a lodge roomMore

Inside the building and interior do not diss appoint with stunning art and luxurious designs. The service is first class and the food just speaks...volumes of the care and dedication that goes into your overall dining experience. We had an anniversary meal here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was good and the food and wine (a very good list) excellent. We went for the a la carte rather than tasting and matching menu. The restaurant has a lovely terrace with a...great view which we enjoyed before our meal, although the 8pm kitchen closure at the same time as sunset means you couldn’t make as much of it as perhaps you might (it struck us as a bit of an under exploited asset). Although we were able to have coffee and digestifs outside afterwards at our request.More

We were here with friends for dinner. The setting of the restaurant with it’s views, the artwork and atmosphere are amazing, the staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive. That being said, the food did not totally lived up to expectations. The amuse bouche was uninspired,...and some of the sides were not as perfect as the price suggests. All in all a very good experience but there are better restaurants for the moneyMore

Our 3rd time at this place and what a disappointment! It used to be exclusive, now it’s for the masses. It used to have excellent service, now it’s chaotic without any organisation. It used to be great food, now I would rather go to KFC....Totally not the value for money we expected. It seems like the place got complacent and lost its touch. Continue like this and you will be out of fashion soon 🤷‍♂️More

We have had lunch here a few times and enjoyed the grounds and view. The food was always competent if not outstanding. We booked for Christmas Day lunch. On arrival there seemed to be tourists wandering around taking photos. We were given a table with...a view. However, unlike previous times there was a singer with a mobile mic. We could barely hear each other speaking and the choice of songs for Christmas day was very odd. We were moved to a slightly quieter table but the ambience was just wrong for a supposedly top class venue. The food was pretty poor too. A manager told us they always have a live singer at Christmas and it' s very popular - indeed it appeared to be very busy. Staff were however pleasant and cheerful. The waiter, and even a car park attendant some distance away, told us they had also said the music was too loud but management didn't take note. We would not return even on quieter days given the poor quality of food and somewhat second rate atmosphere largely due to the loud music. There are many other good restaurants on wine estates with views.More

It's a fine restaurant in a fine location with splendid views and they added a 12.5% gratuity charge to my bill that I wouldn't have had a problem with, but there was absolutely no mention on the menu and it came out of the blue.

Returned to thee most exquisite wine estate in South Africa for Dinner at the main restaurant - From the moment I started corresponding with Ilze for a reservation, I just knew Delaire Graff is STILL ONE OF THE BEST restaurants in Africa - Nikita, the...host at the restaurant was simply put, just outstanding and made certain that we were 100% satisfied with our seating allocation - Michaela, our waitress was the best we EVER had - her product knowledge simply impressed - Michaela was infinitely attentive, yet never intruding - well done Michaela - the food was absolutely great, the menu extensive and the ambiance an added extra - The wine list is also extensive, with many per glass options - Will continue to frequent this restaurant with its breathtaking views.More

Not sure about Uber. We arranged a full day tour including other wineries through Jarat Tours, they were great. Definitely a good idea not to drive!
