I wanted to love this place, thought the chicken salad with chillies would be great. It wasn't the service from our spiked hair guy was neutral at best one of the women servers stopped at our table to set down our dishes, and never came back, until check time, go figure. I just came back from a very frustrating experience at Coronado. I went to meet 4 friends for lunch around noon. Not only did we wait for 40 mins.,we witnessed two other parties seated before us (both parties of 4). I suppose there are no extra chairs in the "cozy, cute" cafe. We were pushed outside in the 100+ heat... more

The Coronado Cafe is, without a doubt, my favorite Phoenix restaurant. I have dined there many times and have always left feeling satisfied and happy, as if I'd just left old friends. The staff are amazing - they remembered us after our first visit and have greeted us with familiarity and warmth ever since. The food is always a treat... more
