I was reading the review below and was upset by this review. I visit the Palace via Phoenix, quite often and many of times bring large groups in and I have never had a bad experience. I always suggest the steaks and so far have never gotten a bad one yet! Everyone that I bring fall in love with the... more

Six women get together every so often to visit this historic town and spend our money. We went into Palace for dinner, told of a 10 minute wait. Actually waited 45 minutes, had tough steaks and a fish/chips dinner that came out of kitchen when everyone else at table was nearly done. Did complain to hostess or owner who apologized... more

We are from Phoenix and spent the Labor Day weekend in Prescott. Granted, this may possibly be the busiest day of the year, but that is not an excuse for poor service or staff not warning us this would be a long wait. We were a party of 5 adults, 2 young children. We sat down around 2pm and finally... more

My husband & I come to this place every time we visit Prescott; I love the history of this building. They offer a variety of food for a variety of tastes. The prices are not out of line, the food is great. We will continue to go there in the future. more

We were directed here by a shop owner. We loved the old, wooden swinging saloon door, as well as the beautiful old wooden bar area. The pictures on the walls were interesting, as well as the architecture of the building. The workers were all friendly, and our meal of cheeseburgers/fries was excellent. We chatted with some other diners there, as... more

This is an old historic bar in downtown Prescott. I would recommend going to have a drink here to enjoy the atmosphere, but the food seemed to be just average. more

Now I have heard alot of mixed reviews about The Palace Restraunt on Whiskey Row, but never really any bad things about the bar itself, was the cocktail service good, was the staff entertaining, did the bartender actually know how to make good drinks, was their selection of liquor? Well one thing that everyone is correct on in their reviews... more

We stumbled on this restaurant on the main square in Prescott as we drove home from Sedona to LA (via Jerome) on historic hwy 89 (take this trip!). The restaurant is magnificent with plenty of history and aura - this is where Doc Holliday played cards, the town where his girlfried - big nose kate died / buried - etc..... more

Nov. 19th. Ate there last night. Wish we had not. The ambiance is GREAT. Real 'old western' style dining and bar area, great historic artifacts all about the large, high ceiling rooms and you would expect a bunch of drovers to show up and start a gun fight. BUT the food, well... 10oz Prime rib tasted well but cut with... more
