We often have breakfast at the Dinner Bell, especially when we have friends in town. Don't overlook it for lunch also. They have excellent sandwiches, great potato salad and very competitive prices. I like the Turkey sandwich best but have had 3 or 4 on their menu and all were great. Great bread also. more

True, the front cafe is a little run-down but has historical connections to movie stars who have eaten here when filming in the area. Locals, such as us, and those in the know, walk along the creek path to the back restaurant which is charming, rather Mexican in feel with brightly colored walls and furniture and a lovely patio for... more
