The Peacock Restaurant has a great reputation, but I don't know why. I had a gift certificate for the restaurant and was treated so poorly when they found out I was using a certificate. I have eaten dinner at the Peacock twice in the past year, but will not return until someone I trust convinces me that it is worth it. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is average, but when a party of four is only 50% satisfied, that is not good enough. The scallop main dish was totally boring. more

We ordered the Prime Rib from an incredible menu and while it was slightly undercooked the flavor was good. We were seated in a cozy corner, beautiful combinations of Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco to delight the eye; subtle lighting to enhance the mood and friendly service.
