My husband and I have visited the Cowboy Club in years past and were really impressed at the hospitality. This year (May 2009) was the worst! We stopped in the first day for an appetizer before dinner and the service and food were the worst ever. We wrote it off as maybe the time of day. Went back the next... more

Enjoyed 2 meals at Cowboy. Started with a couple of mixed drinks (ok) and a couple of Oak Creek drafts (good) the ordered food. One was (don't laugh) halibut fish n chips for her and a buffalo burger w/buffalo chili for me. Both very good at good prices. Several decent drafts and full mix bar. Came back for dinner and... more

The Cowboy Club came recommended by a co-worker who said that it would be a good place to eat when visiting Sedona. Based on my experience, he was wrong. I thought the service was poor, the food was average, and that Idid not get the value for my money. It is certainly not a place I would recommend. My opinion... more

Yeah, it was a little touristy, but the food was very good and service was excellent. Dahlia, our server, greeted us shortly after we were seated. Our drinks came quickly and we didnt have to wait long for our food. The desserts were excellent! We went in mid May but we understand peak tourist season is April. Maybe that would... more

My friend highly recommended the Cowboy Club - so when I was in town I decided to give it a whirl. The food was extremely tasty and the atmosphere was fun! Reading the back of the menu, I learned of all the history of the Cowboy Club and all the famous people that have visited! The margaritas were great, the... more

For my husbands birthday we decided to go the to much talked about Cowboy Club. We were not dissapointed - We started with the Appetizer Sampler which has Buffalo, Snake and Cactus Fries - who knew they would be that good! My husband had the Buffalo Tenderloin with a Peppercorn cream sauce, he said it was one one the best... more

Like the previous reviewer, we too headed to Cowboy Club based on reviews and thinking it was one of the hot spots. It was a disaster. Maybe it is a local hotspot, as our waitress ignored us and flirted endlessly with the table of bikers next to us. We started with the fried cactus for an appetizer. Tiny portion, and... more

After reading favorable reviews decided to try this with my family of four. It was a huge, expensive letdown. Food was very average to less than average. (How can they mess up a hamburger??) Waited an hour to get in, but once we were in couldn't figure out exactly what the attraction was? Save your money and head over to... more
