We ate at Rene last week. Attention to detail was wonderful--very leisurely dinner--well paced service, good food and perfect ambiance. Would go back again next visit! more

My partner and I dined at Rene for dinner in November upon the recommendation of family who dined there last year and enjoyed their meals. However, we had a disappointing experience as our starter of Ostrich was served overcooked and cold, and had to be taken back. The second attempt was better but lacked any seasoning or salt. The bread... more

Went to Rene for wedding rehearsal dinner with toddler. The Rene did not have a single high chair, so we had to feed our little guy in the stroller. Not good. Child menu almost not worth mentioning. Ended up taking turns walking our child outside to keep him pacified during the 2 1/2 hour dinner. On the plus side, the... more

We've been going to Rene for years. It's always very very good. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. Very rich in flavor and not too salty like some places. Excellent selection of wine by the bottle or glass, very nice waiter; however, was a little slow with bringing out our drinks. I think it was the... more

We loved eating ar Rene's. The atmosphere in Tlaquepaque is great and it was so fun to eat in that atmosphere. We sat out on the patio. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. The food is high quality. We had stuffed mushrooms as our appetizer. I had pork tenderloin with cranberry sauce, and my husband had filet mignon.... more

Our inn recommended Rene for dinner one of our evenings in Sedona. If you are looking for a restaurant that your parents -- or even grandparents -- would have treated themselves to, then this is the place. The restaurant decor and menu is quite dated with lots of game and heavy appetizers. I splurged on the Rene rack of lamb... more

The owner Debra was very accommodating as was our waiter Tyler. I would recommend the restaurant highly for a lovely dining experience, great food, friendly staff, and good value. Try the rack of lamb. My mother fell on the vacation and broke her ankle in 3 places. The restaurant is on one level so, we were able to have it... more

I've heard a few reviews that state Rene is expensive, compared to the Oak Creek Brewery which is right next door and pub food, with appetizers between $7-16, entrees between $16-27, Rene is $10-15, and 19-45, respectively. Big difference? Not when the $40+ dishes are tenderloin of antelope, Australian 8 oz lobster tail, and Colorado (big and good as it... more

We recently visted Sedona as we drove down from Utah to Scottsdale to our new home and had to bring our large Bernese Mountain Dog with us. We were recommeded that Rene's was dog friendly. We ate on the patio and had with our dog and had an amazing first class dining experience. The food was amazing. The menu is... more
