The new owner of Goldie's Route 66 Diner has really improved everything about the menu, the quality and quantity of the food; the service; the prices; and the appearance of the restuarant. Wanted to try a diner while on vacation so we decided to try this one. When we went in and a waitress was chatting with some people at the counter. She continued to talk with them and ignored us. This restaurant must be under new management or something because I completely disagree with the other 3 reviews. The food was good and the server was very polite. There was no headbanging music as the other review states. Not perfect but not a bad choice. more

I see the two previous reviews state this place was *really* bad. Maybe they had cleaned it up, but it wasn't that horrible when we stopped there in April, 2008.
