La Fonda is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. I visit Yuma often and have to eat at least one meal there while I am in town. more

Everyone knows that if you go into a town, especially one with a rich history such as Yuma, you will want to find out where the "LOCALS" eat. Well, La Fonda Tortilla Factory is it. I have been going there for over 10 years and La Fonda has never disappointed! There are a ton of dishes to choose from and I have yet to find one that I did not like. One of the top-rated Mexican food restaurants in Yuma. It's in a run-down but safe area of town (most of the good Mexican food restaurants are), has a decent atmosphere, inexpensive food. Spiciness (picante) is medium to mild. Odd days, sometimes short evenings, so call ahead and verify if they will be open when you plan to go there. more
