We've been to Mud Street twice now. It's a simple cafe that fits the Eureka atmosphere. It's hard to find since it is underground, but the guides at the Eureka visitors center will happily point you in the right direction if need be. I'm not a coffee person, but this cafe has a nice coffee shop atmosphere with different types... more
The service was super fast and very good. The wait staff was very helpful and knew excatly when to appear. The atmosphere was very cozy. more
We had the breakfast croissant which was phenominal. Great coffee and fun, upbeat staff made waking up fun! Great balance of locals to tourists. The service staff, like almost every place we encountered, were good natured, friendly, and helpful. more
We discovered this basement restaurant on our last trip. As we have never had anything other than breakfast there I would say try it. Be warned you will have to stand in line on the stairs on the weekends. And if it is pancakes you want come early as they stop serving them around 9:30 AM. The coffee is great... more
We read the reviews and thought this would be a GREAT place to eat. It turned out to be a mediocre place to pass the time waiting for our order to arrive. The place could use a GOOD cleaning. Atmosphere was drabby.The sandwich was good once you got past the layers and I do mean layers of lettuce. The pies have way too much whipped cream;need more filling! To quote my husband -"Why don't they just bring you a can of Cool Whip?" The coffee is the best thing in there!!! Just drink the coffee and save your money... more
We were told that Mud Street was a must see especially at breakfast. We went to lunch, and the atmosphere was awesome. The staff was great. The trivia cards on the table were really fun. Unfortunately our food wasn't that great. more
Everything you hear about this place is true. Great breakfast! Great Coffee! Wonderful atmosphere. If you are looking for a nice relaxing breakfast then this is the place. more
After reading the excellent reviews here, we knew we had to stop for breakfast before we left Eureka Springs. I had my heart - and stomach- set on the blueberry pancakes. We got there at 7:45 and found they did not open until 8:00. We thought that was a bit late for breakfast, but decided it would be worth waiting... more
Went for breakfast and had a great Greek omelet. Liked it so much we went back for lunch to sample the coffees and cheesecakes, along wit lunch of course. Staff is really nice and down to earth. Noticed right off that we had been there earlier in the day. Liked it so much I bought he t-shirt! more
