A great few days, this time spent at Prospect House - I would recommend the Crugmere with it's 'in bedroom' bath, romantic lighting and quiet, private setting. The whole experience was a bit of an expensive let down. Overall the service was good. What I disliked was how tightly packed together the tables were and how the whole experience felt like a bit of a conveyor belt. The tables were that close together if the waitress tried to squeeze through to serve the table to the side... more

My wife and I had a lovely meal, trying the tasting menu. Both love shellfish however the whole tasting menu was fantastic. Service was also excellent. One suggestion is that, as with other top notch restaurants, they offer a wine tasting menu with each course as well. more

I hope being a huge Rick Stein fan has not clouded my jugement. Before dining in his restaurant I had high expectations, both for the food and the service. I have to say my expectations were met and surpassed on both counts. The food was truly superb and the service impeccable, this is a must for all seafood lovers. more
