My favorite in Arkansas though it can't compete with BBQ in Houston. However, this place is great and they no longer put cole slaw IN the BBQ like they used too. Man, why would anyone ruin BBQ by putting cole slaw in it? Only people from Tn & Ms who don't know better hehe. Anyway, they are consistent, good service... more

Having spent entire vacations searching Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas for the best pork BBQ, I found it to exist at Jo Jo's in North Little Rock, AR. Forget Sims with its fatty meat and white bread or Lindsey's with it's bland sauce. Jo Jo's is the best. Can you hear them cutting cabbage into slaw on the cutting board? Just... more
