According to the menu, Cotham’s Mercantile was once a small town general store that was struggling to survive when a small restaurant was added to serve lunch to area farmers. Success of the restaurant was attributed to Bill Clinton discovering the “Hubcap Hamburgers” while serving as Arkansas Governor.
