I dined at Mr Chow November 2011 with my Mum, sister & daughter. I was a little concerned after reading some bad reviews but our concierge at The Beverly Wilshire suggested it so we decided to give it a try. We ate there on a Sunday night at 7.30/8pm. Our table was ready straight away. The restaurant welcomed my daughter... More

A restaurant that is trying to combine the atmosphere of formal dinners with the one of a nightclub. Good selection of alcohol, including some nice options of sparkling wines. Medium to long service time, the waiters, although trying to be formally polite, are not sincere. The cuisine is not worth mentioning - OK in all senses. More

Mr. Chow is the biggest rip-off I've ever been to. Think Panda Express food. Sure, it is edible, but it should come in a Styrofoam container and cost $5 for dinner. Instead, it is nearly $100 per person without drinks. They cram the tables so close together that they have to move a table to let you out to go... More

Great food & drinks are on the menu at this stylish but expensive Beverly Hills Landmark. The food is great and the paparazzi are plentiful. One of the most established places in BH for spotting stars while you dine. A very good place to take people from out of town (Ohio or Minnesota) and as long as you are prepared... More

My daughter was so looking forward to visiting Mr Chow's in the chance she might meet the odd celebrity, but unfortunately it was not to be. Extremely busy but I do believe over-rated. Not for us I’m afraid. I think Mr Chow’s are taking these celebrities for a ride. Tables are squashed together, when you want to go to the... More

The food here was excellent. I would recommend 100%. I gave my overall rating a very good because our tables were so close the waiter would have to pull out the table to allow me to use the restroom or even leave. We sat so close to other people I could repeat the whole conversation. Don't let it stop you... More

We turned up Saturday night expecting to be turned away, instead we were told there is a 15 min wait for a table and we were happy to wait. The restaurant has a dark feel inside, I assume this is provide a little privacy for celebrity guests that frequent the restaurant. The decor inside was a little dated and the... More

We were asked by the waiter if we would like him to select our menu for us after a few questions from him to each individual. His choice was perfect and we had a delightful meal, and, considering the location, not too pricy. Would not hesitate to go back again. More

First time dining here - I have never seen a restaurant at the higher end of the price spectrum cram as many people in per square foot as in this place. They have to pull your table out so one of you can sit along the high back. Decor and music appear to be firmly set at around 1988 (being... More
