We were hoping for a vintage steak house with great food. What we got was blah. No pizazz, no wow, nothing to write home about. I love "old school" places and the Smoke House is as old school and old Hollywood as it gets. You can practically see Jack Warner & Walt Disney having their garlic bread and Spencer steaks! Old School - and I mean OLD school - steak house. One of the waitresses has been there over 40 years. Great beef, GREAT garlic cheese bread. Great piece of history. more
Best Brunch in Los Angeles!!! (under $100 per person). It is very reasonable at about $25 PP with endless champagne. Love Dinner as well. When I lived close this place made me fat I ate there so much. more
My wife was working here when we first met back in the 90's. It has been an institution for many years. Yes, get the cheesy garlic bread. more
