great salsa/guacamole/ chips, excellent drinks, good service, pleasant atmosphere, and fair prices. the quesadilla's were only fair.
We went there after a bit of a desperate search through town on a sunday night. Didn't have too high hopes and I wasn't even feeling like having Mexican food, but gave it a chance and ordered a taco salad. When I got the food it was Beautiful and tasty so can't complain at all. My boyfriend enjoyed his Ceasar... More
We walked past by chance last night and had a really lovely dinner. The staff were attentive, great margaritas, ceviche, hot spicy wings and Fahitas were enjoyable. My daughter went for the chocolate cake - unlike any cake we had tried and pure chocolate indulgence. We would go back! A charming experience.
Food was so horrible I sent it back to kitchen after a few bites. Hostile, rude, unprofessional Manager came charging over, "You're paying for it whether you eat it or not!" Worst food, worst service, worst restaurant experience ever! Filed complaint with Calistoga Chamber of Commerce against this restaurant.

Four of us had dinner here on a Friday night. I had fairly low expectations, thinking it looked like just a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. The menu offers your standard Mexican fare, but the food is very good. It tasted very fresh, lively Mexican flavors. I was pleasantly surprised. The only down-side I'd give it is the mariachi band was blasting... More
Went for dinner here with my wife as it seemed to be a busy place, with a good number of customers. We order two mains and a bottle of wine. When the food was served it was at best, only marm. Definitely not hot! And the presentation of the food was not great either. All a bit of a mess........ More
Well, we got shut out of the French Laundry (we didn't really expect to cash in on either of our two waiting list nights) and ate here instead. I'm guessing the food isn't as good here as it would have been at TFL, but I guess we saved about $450/night. Actually, we had six different entrees over the two nights... More
