My husband and I love Bella Roma. We have been there many, many times and have never had anything less than a wonderful meal and dining experience. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. My girlfriends & I have an annual girls weekend in Aptos every year. And EVERY year, we go to Bella Roma in Capitola. The food is consistantly fabulous and Gaetano is the best host EVER. Short Story: I have been to this small, beautiful cafe in Capitola with friends and family for at least five years whenever I am vacationing in the Santa Cruz area, and it is the best Italian cuisine anywhere, period, end of story. While in Capitola we heard great reviews about Bella Roma so we decided to give it a try. What an unfortunate experience it was.
