The only thing more disappointing than the lousy food, and total lack of service is the fact that the Management of the Del Coronado has let an historical landmark turn into a run-down, tourist mill, with no sense or care for basic service and accountability to Guests. Sheerwater is just another hotel restaurant...it fails to take advantage of the beautiful view, the food is average and overpriced, and the service is stuffy and lame. The Hotel Del can do much better. If the weather is nice, eat outside, anywhere! more
