Took my girlfriend here for a random date based on the reviews and menu, and was blown away not only by the ambiance and food, but also by the caliber of the waitstaff from the hostess, who directed us angelically to our rooftop, ocean view, candle lit table for two, to the hard working busser who kept our glasses full... more
From across the country we booked a private reception for 23 in the Breeze Cafe portion of the Pacifica Del Mar. The Breeze Cafe is closed in the evening so the space belonged entirely to our group for the evening. I worked with Andrea who was very helpful in putting together the perfect menu and was always available for questions.... more
I thought this was a very good restaurant-- great (and friendly) service, lovely food, good wine list, and great ocean view in the distance. The atmosphere was good, although it did get a bit loud as the evening progressed, even out on the patio. The only thing I could nit-pick about was that the bottle of red wine I ordered... more
We had perfect ahi and lobster. The view, service and wine list are all very good. You can tell the staff has fun and they do a great job. more

We were encouraged to eat here as it was a friend's favorite restaurant. The fish was mediocre at best...a few dishes had to be returned. Would be hesitant to recommend more

The food is very good, nice view of the ocean in this very popular restaurant. The tables are so close to each other I felt like I was in NYC, where many restaurants have tables inches apart. Not a place for a romantic dinner. more
Food was ok, but the view was nice. Pacifica wouldn't exactly be a restaurant I'd recommend people to for seafood. more
