This is NOT an upscale restaurant, rather a Jewish/Russian diner, but what a delightful place!! We went for appetizers of cheese blintzes (moist and wonderful) and smoked whitefish (served with a warm bagel; smoked wonderfully, but pretty bony by nature). What great sandwiches we got at Elijahs. We got take out and didn't even wait 5 minutes. Prices were a little high but the food was worth it. Will definitely go back next we go to Del Mar. more

I was pleasantly suprised by the extensive menu and new low carb additions. I had to go for the Rueben even though that wan't on my diet, but it was definitely worth the splurge. It was simply delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant! more
