The food was not good. For the price it is a very poor value. The prices are very similar to Arcata's Abruzzi, but the quality is not half as good. The salad was drenched in dressing, although the lettuce was quite fresh. My linguine was badly overcooked, the sauce had little flavor and puddled in the bottom of the bowl.... more
I went with a party of 6 for an early Sunday dinner. Service was good and everyone enjoyed their food. This is a casual place that was fun. The group tried everything from the stuffed steak to pasta dishes. I would definitely go there again. I finally found a decent place to eat in Eureka!! more
Came to Mazzotti's later in the evening. Staff was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Food was excelent. Good portion size. more
OK food (not the greatest but not inedible), huge portions. Poor seating/walkthru layout. Generally kid-friendly. Stereotypical mobster logo a bad idea. more

If this restaurant was in the Bay Area, it would be average or okay. But, in Eureka, it was one of the better restaurants that I've had. The food was good, especially the creme brule. more
The place is hit-and-miss, depending on your server. They seem not to train their staff well, if at all. The food can be good or it can be terrible. Try to avoid the lunch rush or other times where you are likely to get less attention than usual. more

I had the same experience as another traveler. My wine got spilled on the table. They lost my order and it took an hour te get the food. The food was burnt. The waiter was really rude.
