My husband and I celebrated his birthday dinner at Rendezvous and weren't disappointed. To set the scene, Rendezvous is a restaurant as well as a B&B (we rented a cabin up the road). THIS REVIEW IS ON THE RESTAURANT! I am also going to review the BNB, which is a different story all together. I have been to Ft. Bragg a few times and could never really get into it. The town itself feels old and drab which means it feels a lot less exciting than Mendocino and the other ritzy coastal towns.... more

You have to dine here! Everything about it is wonderful. The sumptuous surroundings, the thoughtful menu and wine pairings, and absolutely breathtaking cuisine. Visiting Fort Bragg, we called on the Zagat's #1 restaurant in the region: Rendez-vous! The menu and food (we had the mushroom tasting menu) is just terrific!!!! This was our best meal of a 10 day vacation to Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley and Mendocino County. The service, atmospere and food were all top notch. You will not be disappointed at this restaurant. more
