As many years as I have been visiting Fort Bragg (about 20), this place is not bad. I would have to say one of the better breakfast places. It is good organic food. Portions are not large but OK. A little on the pricey side. more
We found this place delightful, with healthy, well prepared meals. I loved the "Hippie Sauce" that they use in the scrambles for breakfast, and think they should market the stuff, it was wonderful. Service was great, too. more
I also loved this place....they serve healthy organic breakfasts!..If you go during the busy season...it is best to arrive between 730 am and 9am to avoid the crowds...The service was great...the place reminds me of the old time diner with counters and tables...so nice...I ate here 2 times during my stay...best of all if you are allergic to pork..they have... more
My husband and I have been traveling around the Mendocino coast while buying a house in the area. We have found Cafe 1 a down to earth place to eat with locals. Quick ,mostly organic breakfast and lunchs served with nice, attentive service without outragous prices make this place our standby. more
If Mendocino has gotten just too cute (and expensive) for you, as it has for us, go on up the coast a few miles to Fort Bragg, while it's still a 'real' town.
