Went in for lunch with wife and 2 kids on suggestion of local tourist info lady. I have come to learn that when "american fare" is all that is on offer (sandwiches, burger etc) to not expect too much. The food was standard, the service sufficient. I had high hopes for this place when the new owners came in. Having eaten there 3-4 times now since then, I no longer have any positive expectations for the River Inn Grill. The food is bland and usually not tasty. The prices are too high and the portions too small. The staff seem more interested in gossiping with people... more
Me and My partner have eaten at the River Inn Grill on several time hoping that this next time would be better. We got seated and we order our food.. The person brought our food and never came back or refill out coffee.. We had to go get our check to pay our bill. I did not leave a tip,... more
The River Inn Grill was a great find! The food is fabulous, the quality is great and the price, for Sonoma County, was reasonable. This seems to be mainly a breakfast and lunch spot. I have eaten all three meals there (not on the same day - I would have burst at the seams). What strikes me is the bread.... more
